Support our mission: your generosity keeps hands-on STEM free for Rockaway youth and families.
Your gift keeps STEM free for Rockaway families.
STEM In The Rockaways relies on community support to keep every program free, hands-on, and open to K–12 learners across the peninsula. Your generosity makes a difference! By donating to STEM In The Rockaways, you are helping us bring quality STEM programs, resources, and opportunities to students and families in the community. Together, we can create a brighter future where every individual has the chance to explore, learn, and succeed in science, technology, engineering, and math.

Where your gift goes
Every dollar turns into hands-on learning.
Families never pay to take part. Your support covers what it takes to bring real STEM experiences to the Rockaways.
Real tools, real science
3D printers, coding robots, microscopes, flight simulators and the supplies learners use to build, test and discover.
Free programs for every family
School-break and community programs for K–12 learners across the peninsula — no cost and no barriers to join.
Programs where kids already are
Bringing STEM to schools, churches and community sites throughout the Rockaways, so a child's access doesn't depend on their zip code.
Double your impact
Your employer may match your gift.
Many companies match their employees' donations to nonprofits like ours — often dollar for dollar, and some even give grants for the hours you volunteer. It takes just a few minutes and can double what your gift does for Rockaway kids.
- Ask HR or check your company's giving or benefits portal for a "matching gifts" program.
- Make your gift, then submit a match request using our organization details.
- We confirm your donation when your employer reaches out — that's it.
